Well I got up later than everyone else since I live downtown and set off to the Convention Center at around 9:45. As I was walking down 5th I saw the cafe they setup for SyFy (from the Eureka show) down at the HardRock hotel. SyFy was also handing out free t-shirts at the trolley stop...score!

I got to room 7AB at 10:20 for The Hobbit and it was already PACKED soooo I had to run all the way back to Hall H to meet up with the rest of my group.

They have Hall H setup sucktacularly with only one screen so if you are behind someone tall, which I was, it is almost impossible to see anything.

First thing up was "A Christmas Carol" sneek-peek. I'm just going to come right out and say it...borrrrrrring.

Next up was Tim Burton for Alice in Wonderland. This movie looks AWESOME!!!!!

And then guess what happened...that's right, Johnny Depp showed up! He didn't say too much and he only stayed on the stage for a couple of minutes but still...Johnny Depp.

We didn't stay for Tron because we wanted to get into Ballroom 20 before it filled up...and we wanted to get away from the Twilight girls - LOL.

We came into Ballroom 20 in the middle of the Quantum Quest. It's looks cool and has a lot of famous voice overs.

I'll update later on today after the Psych panel and I'll have video up later tonight.

Whew!!!!! Just got back home. I couldn't really do to much reporting in Ballroom 20 (where we were) because it was dark and I didn't want to disturb anyone with my bright computer screen.

First of all we get in a line outside of Ballroom 20 that everyone (including the people who work there) said was for Ballroom 20 and then we finally find out that it was just for the floor...so we had to go all the way back to the Ballroom (rrrr).

Anyway there wasn't many people in Ballroom 20 for the previews (they were probably all down on the floor wondering what happened).

First we saw the pilot episode for "Human Target". It was alright. It had Six from BSG in it and someone from Watchman who is a good actor. It had too many contrived plot twists for my taste.

Next show was V, about vistors from another planet. Now I like alien shows and all and this one looks pretty good but they could be a little more original. We all know that when aliens show up being all nice and kind that they are really up to something sinister.

My family didn't let me stay to watch "Vampire Diaries" so we headed over to pre-register for next year. Last year pre-registering saved you $10 so your 4-day pass ended up being $65. Well maybe you should sit down because this year pre-registration is $100!!!!!!

And last but not least the "Twilight Girls" (yuck) are already outside waiting in line for Hall H tomorrow.

I am going to Comic-Con in a couple of weeks and I just ordered a new mini netbook with a 6-cell battery! I am also going to buy a YouTube ready camcorder so I can report and post videos as things are happening there. Check this blog often during Comic-Con for reports, videos, gripes and (hopefully) close encounters with hot actors!
