I am a 24 year old full time college student at San Diego State University, majoring in English Literature and Education. I am a self-published author and am currently (and slowly) working on three more novels, including a fantasy and two Sherlock Holmes stories. I have also created an ongoing book of poetry.

Alright, now that we've gotten past all the formal hooplah, let me tell you a little about my history in shipperdom. When I was much younger, my sister brought over a vhs (this is how long ago this was) of the X-Files movie. That was all it took for me to become a hardcore shipper of Mulder and Scully (the original ship). I watched for about 7 years as the FBI agents hemmed and hawed and never got together, and I loved every bit. Despite the less than stellar (to put it politely) ending to the series, I still look fondly back on that relationship and the slow but brilliant way the love between those two characters was developed and dangled before us.

Since then I've become extremely particular in my taste and very dedicated to my ships. I have always been more of a fan of the debatable or dysfunctional relationships. I have no interest in the characters that are written to moon over each other and stare longingly in each other's directions. It bores me; I don't want to be told who to ship. I want to discover it for myself, like some grand secret that, even if it never comes to fruition (you hear me "Third Watch?) I can still tell myself that I was right and that I saw something that not everyone else did. This leaves a great void for fanfiction, fan videos, and fan art to fill, which I love. I myself write a bit of fanfic and I have made enough videos to fill the Grand Canyon. I highly respect those who can make a convincing and almost canonical reality through these mediums, especially if they are OC (original characters; great example of this here for a Matrix fanfiction that is superbly written . . . I wanna plug this girl's story).

Unfortunately you won't be seeing a lot of original characters on this site, because this is a haven for those who wish to see two already established characters share moments that have been created outside the canon. This is also a haven for any ship; where, ideally, anyone can come and find exactly what they want in abundance and without being harassed . I understand this. Having experienced quite a bit of reproach on the scifi boards for my love of the dysfunctional tension between Leoben and Kara on "Battlestar Galactica", I know what its like to finally find a place dedicated solely to that ship. I also understand the frustration of having to search about the whole internet, scavenging for stories - picking one from here and one from there. This is one of the reasons why I decided, when my sister approached me with this idea, that it would be something I would enjoy doing for myself and for others.  Alright, I've sufficiently rambled . . .
