Ember's 50 Hottest Men of Scifi and Fantasy

Tired of the boring scifi hot lists that only focus on women? Or tired of the hot lists that focus on men that no one cares about anymore? Want a list with a few relative unknowns and genuine hotties?

Check it out and comment below. Let me know who I've missed, who I added that you think didn't deserve a spot. Also, I'm thinking about making a hot list for some of the hottest scenes in movies and tv. If you have any suggestions for that, let me know!!

great wee list of the hottest men in Sci Fi

I would like to add Rutger Hauer from Blade Runner. All that black leather and brooding looks....

You have excellent taste! I love your list - not just for who you included, but as much for who you did not include, i.e. the overrated guys I don't find hot at all (Lee Adama, Jack Shephard, Peter Petrelli, Mohinder Suresh, any version of James T. Kirk, any character played by Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt). Although you lose a point for including Keanu! ;p

I admit I haven't seen some of the movies from the list... But I agree on most men, and especially on putting SPOCK at #1. I also agree on Sylar, but I'd put him higher, as well as NuSpock (Zachary Quinto is simply sex on legs), Leoben, Baltar, Anders and to a smaller degree Helo, Sayid (but I'd put him much higher), Sawyer, Desmond and Richard, Krycek, Marcus Wright (Terminator: Salvation was worth seeing for him), Boromir (Sean Bean is always hotness), Aragorn, Lex Luthor (always prefered him to Clark), Decker (I don't find other Harrison Ford characters hot, but Decker, yes), Kara's dad and Captain Gault. I'm not sure about Jacob's nemesis - I usually find Titus Welliver hot, but he's been on the show for just a few minutes, he should rather be in the last category (short glimpses of hotness) rather than in the main 50.

As for the guys that were left out, I'm surprised that neither the 9th nor the 10h Doctor made the list. But, my pick for one of the sexiest SF guys not on your list is Dukat from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. I rewatched the entire show recently and I realized, whatever else he is, he's hotter than the burning Fire Caves of Bajor. ;) Hm, I've just had a thought - if the average person who is totally unfamiliar with the show asked me "So are there any hot guys there?" and I said "Oh yes, there's this really sexy villain guy from a reptilian-humanoid alien race, a vain, self-serving despotic bastard who eventually goes insane, and he's played by a 50-something actor in heavy makeup...", they'd probably think "Trek fans are really weird". LOL But if you've seen the show and are familiar with the character, it's not strange at all. He can be so charming when he tries to that you can't help kinda liking him, and he exudes so much charisma, masculine power and animal magnetism that it's hard not to be affected against your will - just the kind of guy you know you shouldn't be attracted to, but still are. And well, we all know that baddies are often sexier than the good guys. The Cardassian makeup and uniform is actually awesome IMO - it adds this aura of danger and power - plus it hides some age-related stuff like balding head, wrinkles and rough skin, while emphasizing the positives: piercing blue eyes, ruggedly handsome features, really nice slim body with broad shoulders and tight butt... and yes, I like the neck. ;)
